Yes. I have only seen pictures of certain kinds, but they are reminiscent of clear, still ponds... yet broken into rows where the rice is planted.
Sometimes they look no different from a regular field, yet you get close enough and you see the reflection of sun on the water in-between the greenery...
I think it is easy to miss beauty in the day-to-day, with the lifestyle many of us lead.
[The busy human lifestyle... it's in human nature to overlook what one may see as normal or mundane, but there's so much to be seen too, Yusuke thinks.]
I wonder what other sorts of things I've missed by not paying attention...?
[Like how the cherry blossoms looked--that was something he'd always wanted to see again, so he could commit it to memory this time, and not take it for granted.]

Why's that?
[Are you poor, son.]
no subject
[He poor.]
no subject
... But you still need to eat.
[Suddenly he's worried.]
Are you sure you've been okay?
no subject
Yes, of course I have.
[Is he saying that... he may honestly believe it to be true. I mean he's fine??]
no subject
He feels Doubt.png but]
Okay then... let's grab some food for now then.
no subject
[HE SHALL LEAD.
Back to Bluo!!]
no subject
At which point they probably fail to find any food in Yusuke's house and have to go to Minato's.
Whoops.
It's fine, probably.]
no subject
Ah.
...I'm sorry, it looks like we don't have anything at all.
no subject
And, slowly and carefully:]
Kitagawa-san... maybe we should focus on stocking up your kitchen...
no subject
[HE'S DRAGGING MINATO ALL OVER THE PLACE.
He places his fingers dramatically against his temple.]
I don't wish to trouble you. I can search for food, if you have other things you need to be doing.
no subject
No, it's fine. I'm kind of concerned you won't actually end up finding food if I go...
[What if Yusuke gets distracted again...?]
I'll help out.
no subject
Thank you. However, please let me know if there is something I can do for you in return.
[he'll draw you a pic minato]
no subject
I'll let you know, don't worry. [Spoilers: He Will Not.]
If we go into the fringes of the woods, we can find some berries and things.
no subject
Then that should be our first stop. I shall get a container.
[So they can go berry picking. He'll even grab one for Minato, they can split the LOOT.]
no subject
Sounds good. We can start there, and then maybe look for onions and peppers and potatoes and things too.
[Real food!!]
no subject
[He still misses like the luxuries from home, but...
You know...]
no subject
He sighs, and gives words to that thought, in fact--]
I wish we had rice.
[RICE...]
no subject
[TIME TO MOURN VERY SOLEMNLY FOR THEIR LACK OF RICE
WOE]
no subject
We could make so many more meals if we just had that... but I wouldn't really know the first thing about growing it.
no subject
[...but not how to grow the thing. "It's pretty" does not help with growing food.]
no subject
[Hold on, he's being derailed.]
Is it?
no subject
Sometimes they look no different from a regular field, yet you get close enough and you see the reflection of sun on the water in-between the greenery...
[very #aesthetic]
no subject
... I guess there's a lot I still haven't noticed.
[About the world in general, really...]
Especially about things that I still need to see.
no subject
[The busy human lifestyle... it's in human nature to overlook what one may see as normal or mundane, but there's so much to be seen too, Yusuke thinks.]
no subject
That's a pretty wise way to look at it.
[Honestly...]
I wonder what other sorts of things I've missed by not paying attention...?
[Like how the cherry blossoms looked--that was something he'd always wanted to see again, so he could commit it to memory this time, and not take it for granted.]
